Arlene was probably the smartest and nicest person I have ever known. She had the biggest heart and readily shared whatever she had with anyone who needed it. She was often found with her nose in a book, or watching her favorite movies on TV. In her younger years she loved taking road trips into the mountains and loved nothing more than sitting in the woods and reading a few pages. She had a talent for sewing and was constantly remaking her clothes into creations that were comfortable for her to wear. She regularly recovered and repurposed furniture, and always had a way of fixing things. She cared deeply for her family but also greatly appreciated solitude so she could get lost in her stories. I will forever remember this gentle soul, and I will always appreciate the times she was there for my family when others were not. She gave without expecting anything in return, and was rarely appreciated for the beautiful person she truly was. I wish I had let her know more often how much I loved her. Rest in Peace Aunt Arlene, I Love You and miss you, and hope you find a nice quiet and sunny place in the woods to relax and read and dream away forever.
