Obituary of Patricia Winnifred James

Patricia W. James was born on March 5, 1919 to William and Jeanette Gellor in Port Angeles, Washington. Pat grew up in Port Angeles, where she graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1937. Pat worked in the Clallum County Treasurer’s Office after high school and married Harry C. James Sr., who was stationed at the Coast Guard base in Port Angeles on July 13, 1946. She moved several times and lived in Seattle, Raymond, Aberdeen, South Bend, and Shelton as her husband Harry was transferred with Seattle First National Bank and finally moved to Sequim, Washington. Pat was a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church, active within the Hospital Auxiliary, Saint’s Pantry, PEO, Bayshore Golf Club and other local organizations. Her husband Harry preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by two sons, Harry (Brooke) James and Dennis (Valerie) James. Grandchildren Jared James, Bryce James, Chris (Linda) Kneeland, Paige Kneeland, Jordan Costello, and Tiffany Hawkins. Great-grandchildren Johnathon Kneeland, Austin Kneeland, Jessica (Jacob) Smith, Rowan Hawkins, and Wren Hawkins. Great-great-granddaughter Londynn Dunnington. She also has three nieces, Lynette Schultz, Kathy Piland, and Wendy Rix, and one nephew, Bill Gellor. Memorial service at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Shelton on Saturday, February 6th, at 12 noon. Deacon Bill Batstone will officiate.
