Obituary of Erland "Jack" Springer

JACK SPRINGER Erland "Jack" Springer, dearly loved by his wife, daughter, grandsons, great grandchildren, brother, sister , nieces and friends, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017. He was born on October 23, 1930 in Lewiston, Idaho to Earl and Helen (Voss) Springer. He was previously married to Betty Anne Radegast. Although subsequently divorced they parented the apple of his eye, his daughter Terri. On September 27, 1997 he married his best friend Linda (Wood) Springer. They loved each other very much. He graduated from University of Idaho and worked in management positions for various companies until retiring after 20 years from Providence Medical Center in Seattle, WA in 1996. He served as a Mason County Master Gardener including acting as Treasurer of the Executive Committee. He also served on the Timberlake Board of Directors for a number of years in various positions. A beautiful park was named after him in appreciation of his outstanding service. He was a member of Shelton Presbyterian Church. Surviving are wife Linda Springer of Shelton, Terri (Brad) Johnson of Lewiston, Idaho, grandsons Benjamin (Mikkel) Johnson of Lake Stevens, Washington and Jacob (Katie) Johnson of Lewiston, his brother Deral Springer of Lewiston, sister Ella Gaye (Dale) Williams of Spokane, Washington, 2 great grandchildren and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Keith Williams. A memorial service (casual dress) will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, August 6 at Shelton Presbyterian Church.
