This was a great man that touched many lives everywhere he went. He touched mine. He maintained contact with me and always cheered me on. He pushed me to a better me everyday. Chaplain Greg Garringer, a mentor, a friend and a brother.
I pray that his family will take all the beautiful qualities that he has left us and incorporate them into your lives so that he may continue to receive blessings even in his absence. I thank God for bringing him into my life at a time when I could have been at the lowest point of my life. He made me feel like I had become a better mold of a man instead...a servant of God.

I lost my father last year and Greg just gave me the biggest hug. He didn't ask me if I was OK, he seemed to just know that all I needed was a hug. He was the most calming person I have ever met and I will miss that about him the most.
