Obituary of Edwin Joseph Hamilton

Our sweet brother Ed Hamilton of Vancouver, Washington, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. He was 58 years old. He was preceeded in death by his father James Joseph Hamilton, his mother Diana Hamilton, and his older brother Michael Hamilton. Ed has three sisters who loved him very much. Penny (Hamilton) Lulich of Vancouver, Washington, Debbie (Hamilton) Moss of Vancouver, Washington, and Mary Hamilton of Vancouver, Washington. He also has nephews Joseph Hamilton of Olympia, Washington, Steven Lulich of Bloomington, Indiana, and Ben Lulich of Huntington Beach, California who loved him very much. Also, nieces, Sierrha Schlagenhaufer of Oregon City, Oregon, and Rachel Lulich of Augusta, Georgia who loved him. Ed was a wonderful man who enjoyed so many things in life, but nothing more than all of the people he loved. Ed was so proud of his family, and loved to talk about all of his nephews and nieces. They enjoyed him too. He was always very sweet to all of the kids, whether family or kids of friends. He cared deeply for them all. Ed was a lover of the outdoors and nature. Amongst his many hobbies were fishing, camping, hiking, outdoor photography, and boating. He would help anyone who came along and needed a hand. He was, as a child, a cub scout, and later he joined the United States Air Force. In more recent years he worked as a campgrounds manager, and helped with Fourth of July Fireworks at Pekin Ferry in Ridgefield, Washington, and other places around the state. His family will miss him very much. Rest in Peace, Beloved brother Ed. A Memorial Service for Ed will be held at Pekin Ferry in Ridgefield, Washington on Saturday, August 23, 2014 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to be announced.
