There are so many memories growing up as neighbors of the Goodale family. Mrs. Goodale was always so kind to all of us kids on the block. What echoes in my mind are the mom's calling off their porches it's time for dinner or time to come in, we had the best mom's. Rest in peace lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers to to the family. Irene was such a beautiful person and a loving, kind woman who treated me as one of her kids. I will always remember the trips to Fox Island. Cheryl and I were so lucky ... both our Mom’s were such amazing people. I bet they are neighbors in heaven. ....Love you all so much ...and so thankful to have grown up with you. Irene Goodale was a big part of my childhood , She was my second mom along with Mrs Browitt . She was kind and loving to me, I think about her often along with my mom Ginny Devery I was so blessed to have known her all those years!! We called them the neighborhood Moms!!!! When Ron married our daughter, Lori, the whole Goodale family became part of our family. We have lost a sweet member of our family. One who welcomed our family into hers. We will miss you ,Irene.

My favorite memory with my grandma is singing around the fire at Lake Chelan. She had so much passion and joy when she was singing! She would teach us songs from when she was in girls scouts as a kid. I will always remember the songs and will be sure to sing them to my own children one day :blush:
