Where do i begin? This wonderful woman was introduced to me by her awesome daughter (Ellen) when I was 14. Those were trying years for me as I was going threw a change in my life. With me you either loved or hated me and I am thankful that Carol (my new grandmother) loved me. I remember visiting her house and all the great food she had. She would always have popcorn night and to me as a child that had come from an unstable environment-this stability or routine was a great instrument for me. Her and her husband (whom I will miss both until we meet again) were the grandparents that I had always wanted. Carol was always loving but firm. To me she was and is that spirit of a strong woman that we have witnessed come and go through out the generations. I could go on and on about her but I dont think my terrible English would even be able to explain the love and blessings she has bestowed on me. YOur wild Grandson Shawn Spilman..love ya and cant wait to see you again..
Ps..my youngest daughter has your spirit of strength and courage

So very sorry, though she was ready to leave it leaves us left behind with a deep sense of loss. I remember when the family would come to visit us in Kingston, the sisters were more Irene's age than mine, but I have fond memories of your visits, and ours to Shelton too. More recently I remember my trips to Quincy to hunt with George and Keith; We would sit in Carol's kitchen and drink coffee and chat. Very good times with very good people. We send our love to all the family.
