Ron will be missed by many. As a long distant cousin, I didn't get to see Ron in person that much. I had the privilege of having Ron and Kathie stay with me in Minnesota during one of their trips back to visit. Ron won the heart of every one of my pets, just by walking in the door. The pet whisperer he truly was. I enjoyed visiting and hearing stories of his past and family. He was one of the kindest men I have known, and I'm so happy to be part of his family. My condolences go out to Kathie, Kim, Mike and Tessa. My heart is with you all during this difficult time.
Ron Nesland, a Great Human Being, a committed soldier with the 1st Cavalry Air Mobile, 1968. Ron was wounded seriously around June 1968. He was a member of Range Platoon, D Company, 2/8th Cav. Those of remaining Range trigger-pullers miss him and will reunite with all Range
