I was so sad to hear of Sharon’s passing. I know she was greeted by many of our dear family members that we’ve lost.
Sharon was my older cousin and, growing up, I always thought she was so pretty and nice.
I have a memory of her when she was pregnant with Lorie. She was visiting us in Richmond, CA and was probably 9+ months pregnant and getting to that uncomfortable stage in pregnancy. One of the aunts with us that day (probably Aunt Wanda, Aunt Rose, Aunt Wilma and my mom-Aunt Deana) suggested that Sharon get on all fours and do slow, heavy breathing. We all sat around and watched her! Our big extended family was so fun and awesome back then. No baby came that day, but every once in a while, that image and memory of Sharon come to my mind.
To Sharon’s family, I send you love and hugs. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your beloved wife, mom and nana. Sharon was one of my double cousins (related on both sides of the family). Seven years older than me, I always thought she was so beautiful and sophisticated. She was always so sweet to us younger cousins and included us in trips to the “show” when we visited. We lost touch for many years but was happy to reconnect on Facebook after many years.

Aunt Sharon and uncle Jerry took in Lisa and Jeff along with our children Christopher and Megan when we needed it most. They gave us a new start in Washington, treated us one of their own children and most of all she became Nana to our children. She will be forever missed.
