I grew up in Everett, Wa. Dallas Blair and family lived directly across the street, when I was growing up.
His daughter, Darcy and I were probably still in the play pen when we met.
Darcy and I, grew up becoming good friends. Unfortunately as years went by, loosing contact.
After the Blaire family moved, to the Tacoma area, I would go stay with them during the summer. I have such wonderful memories of that time.
Dallas taught me to water ski on Hoods canal, when I was around 10. He was so patient and kind.
I still water ski to this day. I love to spend my summers on the water and skiing.
I also recall Dallas, my own father, and a couple of our other neighbors water skiing often as possible, after work.
So many good memories.
I am so sorry to read of his passing.
Such a wonderful family and good neighbors.
So thankful he taught me to water ski, giving me a lifetime passion and love for the water.
God bless
Prayers to Dallas and family .

I met Dallas roughly 19 years ago. I needed help with my Airstream and Dallas was generous to advise and help me restore it.
Fast forward to March 2005, I had just sold my Airstream and saved some money to buy a replacement trailer.
I went over to Dallas' and bought a 67 Airstream Safari, a 54 Flying Cloud, and somehow a 1970 MGB stored under the carport. This was all possible because of Dallas's generosity and support. We especially bonded over education, he being a former principal, I being a school counselor,
In being a school counselor, we bonded over talking about ongoing school challenges. It has been a few years since we last talked, I still consider him a very good friend and will miss him.

Dal was as fine a person I have known. He was a devoted son, especially during his mother’s last years. I was fortunate to have know him as part of our extended family. Love to Laurie. Carole Tye
